Hancock County Records Contacts

Private reference service. This is not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. For those matters, contact the office that created or holds the record.

HCSO and county booking records

Use the Sheriff’s Office for current-custody routing and the county form for a formal booking record or photograph request. HCSO does not publish a separately labeled booking-photo records line.

Choose the right record route

Records and custody information are split between agencies. Use the route that matches the question.

  • For a current Hancock booking or available image, start with the official HCSO roster and records path.
  • For a possible warrant, use Justice Court, the Circuit Clerk, or the sheriff’s routing contacts; the county has no verified public warrant portal.
  • For a state prisoner or parolee record, use Mississippi Department of Corrections resources.
  • For a federal custody question, use the BOP locator; for qualifying immigration custody, use the ICE locator.
  • For an arresting-agency report, contact Bay St. Louis Police, Waveland Police, or Diamondhead’s city police-report route as appropriate.

Court and record follow-up

Hancock County Justice Court is at 8450 Highway 90, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520, 228-467-5573, with Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. hours listed by the county. Circuit Clerk Kendra Necaise is at 152 Main Street, Suite B, Bay Saint Louis, MS 39520, 228-467-5265. Those offices can direct a person to the appropriate case or disposition record. A booking entry is an accusation, not a court result.
